UNI-INAIL GUIDELINES– Occupational Health and Safety Management System

A health and safety management system in conformity with UNI - INAIL Guidelines represents the starting point of a management system that ensures compliance with the law and protect the organization from potential risks.

The adoption of the UNI - INAIL guidelines are a valid support to the companies which are voluntarily willing to adopt a safety management system without taking the more complex path to certification.
A health and safety management system sets procedures to identify, within the corporate organizational structure, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources for the implementation of the prevention policy, in compliance with health and safety regulations in force.

Since the guidelines are not considered a standard, CSI assesses the compliance by releasing a report highlighting the positive aspects and the shortcomings of the system that will be brought to the attention of the management for future improvement actions.

The structure of UNI INAIL Guidelines traces the Deming cycle (PDCA) and can be integrated with other management systems (ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environment, etc.).
